David M Bromberg
David grew up in an environment rich with exposure to great legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Stan Kenton when they’d come through his home town of Tucson AZ.
Learning and absorbing jazz from his father, a working first call drummer in the area gave David the opportunity to play with more seasoned players and get good exposure at a young age.
He joined the musicians union at 16 and he was playing with the usual pop, Latin, Rock and big bands of the day in the 60’s
